How can I delete a post I just made?

I was responding to the thread about banning salt and ended up with a bunch of posts while trying to edit/delete a prior post.  How are we supposed to delete a post of our own??

I don't think you can delete your own posts. PM an admin or mod and they can take care of it. Leaving a message in one of the extra posts worked fine too in this instance.

 Not being able to delete a post Stinks with a capital S. I sincerely hope that gets fixed in the future.

Try clicking on the edit button. Once back into your post, delete everything. Then leave a one liner about having deleted it, with or without a reason as you please. Thus:

Deleted by poster.

or

Deleted due to redundent comments.

After following KYH's instructions, you can also report your own post if you really feel it needs to be deleted.
