This Sturgeon was caught two weeks ago On Lake of Woods,Kenora Ontario
This is an interesting pic and story even if your not into fishing, but please show it to anyone who likes to fish.
It weighed over 1000# and measured 11'1". It was 56"around girth and took 61/2 hours and 4 dozen beers for 4 guys taking turns to reel it in!
Any Sturgeon ( in Ontario ) over 5' has to be released unharmed and cannot be removed from the water. They are Brood/ Breeding and probably older than most of us.( too bad think of all the Caviar!)
