ROFLMAO!!!  Haggis is the only Scottish main dish I know of...maybe that's all they eat...maybe they don't know there's an entire culinary world outside the pig bladder.  Just joking, folks,  but really, as far as cuisine goes,  the Scots do not seem to have much going for them.

That's a bit harsh - I'm Scots and believe ME, we have plenty 'going for them'.  Have you any IDEA what we actually eat?

anything that is alive and moving...like baby frogs! especially republican baby frogs!!!!

ferryman, you ate bear meat?...i thought that bear meat is the one meat that is almost fatal for humans to eat...lots of toxins and salmonella, and worms...saw or read something that when the fur was taken off the bear and the bear was splayed out, anatomically, it was so similar to the human body...interesting, huh?

Almost embarrassingly, I can't eat bell peppers. It used to be onions and peppers until I realized I just don't like raw onions. But bell peppers, raw or cooked, I just can't eat 'em!

Maggoty cheese from Sardinia. I'll be visiting there shortly, but that's NOT on the list of things I want to try there!

After watching a documentary called "The Cove", I don't think I will ever try dolphin meat...

Wow there are so many things I would never eat... I'm pretty picky. I recently ate pate and intestines, each purely by accident, otherwise those would be on my list. I knew right away that something was wrong in my mouth but I went with it, at least for the 1 bite :)

Although I am not an adventurous eater, I have eaten insects. I had an entomology class in college and it was extra credit to cook something with insects and then eat a sample in front of the class. I ground mealworms and made cookies. They came out quite buttery and delicious. I hardly noticed anything odd about them. I left the rest sitting on my desk at my campus job for my coworkers to "enjoy!"

One thing I have said no to a million times is chicken feet at dim sum.

I 'like' durian actually. But....head next door to the durian place in singapore and try a bullfrog-in-a-blender....no thanks.     The Pig Organ Soup place....sure...but......frog in a blender....ugh..

Wondered what happened to the rest of Trigger.

BDL

PS.  Remember the Bass-O-Matic?

BDL, I think the rest of Trigger probably ended up in someone's jello!  Or is holding together their antique furniture.

I never personally knew a horse, but I did eat the rabbits and chickens we raised when  i was little.

As for the bass-o-matic (I just looked it up), I think I was already in italy bemoaning the lack of anything actually funny on TV.  Was it a saturday night live thing?  I came here in 1974. Missed much of the best comedy of those years.
