First off, I would like to say hello! This forum is a godsend.
Okay, so I'm 24 years old, and I go to Atlanta Technical College. I'll be graduating in June with about 4 Certificates. My grades were pretty good (While our school did try to appeal to students without formal schooling, the program was in my opinion very challenging). However, while I developed a real passion for baking and pastries, our school did not focus on more advanced techniques. They really geared the program towards restaurant and hotel services.
With the job market being the way it is, I really want to go back to school to develop my skills further. I've done a lot of research, and right now I'm wringing my hands. There are quite a few choices out there, and I don't know where to go.
I definitely want to work towards a degree. I want to learn more about pastries and chocolates. I also would like my credits to transfer over, but I wouldn't mind starting from scratch.

Le Cordon Bleu
Baltimore International College
Keiser University (I have heard HORRIBLE things about this school. :( )
Culinary Institute of America
