Hi, I am a 25 year old aspiring chef about to graduate from culinary school in December. I have over 4 years of experience in the industry. I am trying to do a stage overseas or here in the States at a very good restaurant. Does anyone have any info on this or anyone to contact? Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks

 If you are looking for a "STAGE" in the food business you will need some rich relatives like Julia Child had. Otherwise find a Chef that has been at it for 15+ years and has the  time to wake you up. To make it in this business you will need a lot of good experiences, both physical and mental. I know the schools like to pump you up  but, you are not getting a "law degree" you will have to earn every bit of respect you get. A piece of paper may open a door for you but over confidence will shut it just as quick. GOOD LUCK!
