Any recommendations on gas/duel-fuel ranges? The budget is 2-4k. Required features are high BTU + simmer BTU on the burners. Oven should have convection.
I have seen the latest from Consumer Reports, but the 30" gas list seems low-end. The 30" duel-fuel point to Bosch and Kenmore Pro. Their 36" inch reviews aren't extensive.
Based on CR user reviews and the forums here, I am leaning towards Wolf or DCS at the high-end and Kenmore Pro at the mid range.
Current setup: fisher paykel cooktop (great! btw.) with thermador down draft vent (so-so).
