What would be a good couple of cheeses to have with port?

The classic cheese with a good port is Stilton.

I also like a crumbly white cheese such as Wensleydale or Lancashire or Caerphilly.

Definitely!  Stilton goes extremely well.  A blue cheese will work too.

 Gorgonzola. , Roquefort, Blue de Bresse, Parm. Reg. works well, Azeitao, Emlett .

The Blue cheese was excellent.

Since it was after dinner...we added some very dark chocolate to the table as well.

All in all a very, enjoyable evening.

It's good to have such great advice so readily available.
