Looking to not break the bank (as I have to replace my blender as well) and would like to pickup a rice cooker. I've been eating a pretty boring diet lately, so ideally, this would be used 3x a week or so for brown rice.

 

I'm headed to the local Asian grocery store tomorrow and planned to pick one up, but figured I'd post here as the last post regarding rice cookers i could find was back in 2008.

 

Any features I should look for? is brown rice going to be an issue?

 

Right now I suck at making it in a pot, but that's a whole 'nother thread...
