We were taking my mother out for a surprise birthday dinner, so I dropped off a birthday cake earlier at the restaurant. Told the person that we have reservations at 5. Long story short...we all arrive at 5 and the hostess yells out....is this the Jone's SURPRISE CAKE reservation! I was mortified that this idiot kept saying out loud about the cake. I am trying to motion to her to keep her mouth shut, but to no avail. She seats us and says "enjoy". Well I got up confronted her and very angrily said yes that is my cake and she ruined the surprise. My mother was celebrating her 75th. All she could say was "enjoy"
