Hi! anybody has a tried and tested recipe for Sugar Free Brownies and Sugar Free Choclate Chip Cookies? Mostly I use Splenda but I haven't got the hand of it. /img/vbsmilies/smilies/lookaround.gif
Splenda can be tricky. The times that I've tried straight Splenda, the cookies tend to get a little bitter. Splenda baking blend, which has some sugar in it, works very well, but wouldn't work if you want totally sugar-free cookies. The Sugar Buster Diet Cookbook has some great baking recipes, but unfortunately, I lost my copy in my last move. I would suggest picking up a copy.
I've had success with a plant sweetener called Stevia. It has no affect on the outcome of the final product. I use it in all baking, jams, jellies, tarts, creams, the list goes on, when I am cooking for family.
