emptying PM trash?

I was cleaning up my PMs today and noticed that while I can move things to the trash, they don't seem to ever disappear.

 

I suppose that's not a big deal, but it seems counterproductive.

That is odd I did not notice it before. We can ask Huddler. I guess the idea is that you can at some point get back to a message even if you deleted it.

yeah phatch, 

i have the same problem...would be nice to have a 'delete forever' button like google, so atleast you have an option...just seems silly to keep all those p.m's...nicko, if you could check with huddler, that would be great...thanks
