I will be visiting Fort Myers,Florida next week with my girlfriend. I would like some ideas of restaurants to go to.

If you like seafood, I recommend a place called Prawnbroker, a great seafood and fish market restaurant. I also ate at a place called Bistro 41 which was more fine dining if you are looking for a good sit down dinner date. Good luck and have fun!

If you're into Southeastern Asian my parents own a place down in Venice called Pergola/Dara Thai. There's also an American cuisine menu, but the best food is definitely on the asian side. It might be a small trek from Ft. Myers (and my opinion a little biased), but it's probably the best asian food the area's ever seen, and the beaches there are beautiful too.
