Tired, but wired

Thread Starter

It's been a long, happy and productive day and I'm Knackered. I want to go to bed but I'm wired and I know I wont sleep right now. So I've poured a cognac. Sat in front of the computer to talk to you guys and I can see me being around for a while. Yet I really  want to be sleeping and I need some suggestions...Iknow I'm not the only one, so do tell. How do you wind down when you're wired?

Please no yoga...Remember I'm knackered

Hey bughut I know the feeling well as do many others I suspect. I went through a three week period of near insomnia a couple of months back, the more I thought about it, the worse it got.

When I come home late from a busy service and my body is saying "you know, you really should get some sleep" but my brain is saying "hey, there is nooo way I am shutting down for at least a couple of hours" I do pretty much the same as you, pour a large one and open the laptop.... Bottoms up!

Good to hear you are busy.
