Christmas Song Memory

Thank goodness for internet radio and/or YouTube!

I am sitting at my computer over here in Switzerland on a a very cold winter day. Even the snowmen (sorry...snowpersons for those politically correct individuals out there biggrin.gif) are asking to come inside to warm up. Anyway, have my iTunes program open on one of the Christmas radio programs and am doing a bit of work while listening, humming, and occasionally breaking (breaking is exactly what it sounds like) into song. Suddenly I hit a full stop. A song I haven't heard in a very long time started playing. 'An Old Christmas Card' sung by Jim Reeves came on. Wow! Hit me like a ton of bricks with memories of listening to that on my parents record player while watching my father and mother dancing around the living room.

What Christmas song brings back those past Christmas memories for you?

If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that ACME stuff, why didn't he just buy dinner?

In the Bleak Midwinter.  My favourite carol.

I know how choked it used to make me when I heard it on the BBC world service when we lived in far flung parts of the world....  Sob....!
