Christmas Cutlery?

First, Merry Christmas to everyone here on the Forum!

 

Second, many thanks for the advice on knives and sharpening swag. So far I am happy with the Ryusen Tsuchime Gyuto I picked up from JCK along with an end grain board from a local shop.

Did you get the Winter Special version with the white paper micarta handle?

    Hi Alan,

 

  The knife sounds great!  Your Tsuchime is as much a show piece as a work piece...congrats! 

 

 

 

 

   I was going to be getting a new sujihiki but it will have to wait until next year.  No worries though, I'll end up getting it smile.gif

Phaedrus - that would be the one!

 

Dan - I hope it continues to look and show quite well - I will really try to post pics later in the week. As for your upcoming purchase/gift later in the year - we will look forward to seeing it!

It looks like you lucked out- I see it's sold out now.  I wonder if they'll get any more in?
