I was having some Greek yogurt for lunch, and in fine print it said that it's made in NY State. How can they get away with calling it Greek, instead of Greek-style or something? I actually thought it was imported.

How about Italian dressing? French fries? Japanese eggplants? Thai Basil? Mexican Oregano? New York steak?
This reminds me, when I first came to the U.S., I thought a chicken fried steak was made... out of chicken!!!

Perhaps the dairy should be honest and call it 'Greek-STYLE' yoghurt? In Europe they would NEVER get away with calling something 'Greek' unless it was actually made/manufactured in that country.
FAGE is my favourite greek yoghurt - it's definitely made in Greece.
