I have been "cheffing" privately to support myself. My clients are usually my well-off distant relatives and well-off friends of my relatives. They always tell me that my food looks like a painting. I guess it does because I am an oil painter and I am also a graphic design, photography, and architecture appreciation enthusiast. I like artsy and intelligent plating. I did once create a menu using Rothko's color palate because my client was an art collector and she wanted color first before flavor. The question: If you are hiring and I show you my works through a web page, do you think the web page will help? Or will it turn you off thinking I am such a show-off?
