Thought I'd say thanks for the help you folks have offered up. I cleaned up the old K-Sabs with a green scrubbie/lemon juice/baking soda and mildly shaped the 10 in. so the heel actually meets the board. Cleaned up the handles and mineral oiled the knives top to bottom. I thinned out the 10 a bit and put a decent edge on both of them. That Norton India is a danged handy $20 stone!
So even though the 10 has a somewhat weird shape from years of sharpening, both of these knifes have sentimental value and see use.
