Easy chocolate pudding

this recipe can be made traditionally, with whole milk and sugar, or with special dietary needs in mind, with splenda and non-fat milk. It is creamy, delicious and chocolately either way … CINNAMON CHOCOLATE PUDDING 1/2 c. sugar (or splenda) 3 tbsp. cornstarch 2 1/2 c. milk of your choice (whole, skim, non-fat, whatever you want) 1/3 c. cocoa 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp cinnamon Mix sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt in saucepan. Slowly stir in milk, cook over medium heat, stirring continuously, until your arm falls off, or the pudding begins to thicken , whichever comes first. (about 5 minutes) Continue cooking few minutes longer, (keep stirring) until pudding gets glossy; (a couple of minutes or so,) stir in vanilla and cinnamon. Pour into containers of your choice. Chill until you get tired of waiting for it to be cold enough, then eat it anyway ☺ Enjoy!

Hello Xumeng, you could make your life a lot easier by heating your milk (bring to a boil), but first take 1/2 cup cold milk aside in a bowl and put all other ingredients in. Mix until the starch is dissolved. When the milk boils, pour the mixture in and whisk. Within seconds the milk will thicken. Let boil very gently, minimum 5 minutes to get rid of the flourtaste. Keep stirring gently with a wooden spoon to avoid the pudding to burn on the bottom of the pan.

BTW, you can change the cornstarch with something like "Dr. Oetker pudding powder", it's basically also cornstarch but with all other components already in it.
