Cooking without the Sense of Smell

Thread Starter

Hello

I'm a young man who wants to reinvent himself. So i'm thinking at a cook/chef career. But i have a problem, i do not have the sence of smell.  I have the sence of taste, but not to smell.

I love to cook, to create food, but i'm wondering if it's posible to be a cook without the sence smell. It is posible or imposible to be a good cook?

Thanks

I don't think it is a great idea. If something were bad you would not really know. You would have to rely on others.I don't say it's imposible, but it would be real hard.Good Luck

My sense of smell has diminished over the years, I don't have a problem. If my sense of taste was gone that would be another thing..........
