Movies and Television VS. The Real Kitchen

What happens in your kitchen that Chefs in the Movies or on Television never address?

And what is your favorite movie that involves cooking?

Television and movies about kitchens are mainly there to entertain.

If the real stuff was shown, the movies and tv would be a flop.

That's why the FN programs survive because they don't show the day to day goings on in a real life kitchen.

Could you imagine a real time line in a busy kitchen during service doing 300 covers in an evening.

I'd bet the Chef would through the film crew out, plus they only be in the way.
