Hey everyone,
I'm a long time fan of cooking. Grew up in a family heavily involved in food and cooking. I've spent time in South East Asia learning specific dishes, and garnered the rest from my family. Hope to pick up some pointers and recipes during my stay here.
Finally started my own high end kitchenware company last year as well!
Thanks,
Alex

One of my first internet knives. Great blade. I mean *great* but the handle was a bit weird. Right now it just sits at the bottom of my knife kit.

Hello Alex and welcome to Cheftalk.
We have members from around the globe. Where in SE Asia did you visit to learn about the cuisine? I've lived in Singapore and visited lots of other SE Asia countries, including Malaysia and India. I adore 'Indian' foods and also quite like Vietnamese and other 'Asian' foods, too.
I hope you will post on threads you find interesting, or start your own. Recipes are always welcomed here! The Wikis, blogs, reviews and photography on here are all well worth a second look. The professional fora are read-only for those of us who are not in the culinary professions, though.
Hope to see you around the boards.
