I just discovered this wonderful site today!

My name is Amanda, I'm originally from and currently living in my hometown in Central NY state, however I've lived and traveled around, sampling and learning local food everywhere I go.

I'm not a chef, but I love, love, love to cook, learn about cooking, read and write about food and take photos of what I'm eating.

That's about it!

We have a wide membership,from around the globe - so lots of different cuisines get discussed here. We have all levels of culinary abilities, too - from those just starting out on their culinary adventure, through enthusiastic amateurs (such as me) to masterchefs.
