What effects does smoking have on the hospitality industry
Hello and welcome to Cheftalk.
As a non-smoker, I have to say that I enjoy going into pubs much more nowadays since the smoking ban - ditto restaurants, People still want to eat out - so I think that the effect on restaurants would be less than in pubs. However, I'm not involved in any of the hospitality trades, so that's just an outsider's view!
I hope you will repost your question in another forum on the site, where you would get more input from members than here in the 'welcome' section. Feel free to join in on any thread you find interesting, or start your own in the relevant forum. The professional fora are reserved only for those of you currently employed in the culinary trades, so you could probably get a good discussion going on your topic!
