What can withstand the temp of molten hard candy?

I am tasked to do an edible version of this.

It's small no? But it's actually an embryo of some sort.

So basically, I need something clear and hard as a glass and suspend something inside of it. Of course, hard candy glass is the solution here but the problem is what material do I need to make the embryo inside. It will be submerged in molten sugar so anything that probably melts is not good. rolled fondant came to mind but yea, it's gonna melt I think.

I'm planning just ti make a dome type, not really a sphere. Any suggestions?

Perhaps make the center out of hard candy as well. Then freeze., Then use that as the center.

I was thinking along the same lines. I would stencil both.

Just insert one in the other. Then dam the outside and pour clear to get a domey look.

What ever it is it's pretty gross, especially that puddle looking thing.eek.gif

You can use modeling clay with ease and poured sugar.

Wait, when you say size are you talking that little size or a plaque?

The tiny ones just need to be printed.
