My name is Kevin and I live in Denver, Colorado. I was recently accepted to the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, CO. I am so excited to be going to culinary school, being a chef has been a dream of mine since I was a kid.

This last Monday they allowed me to sit in on a class, participate, and try the finished food at the end of class. We made hot and sour soup, shumai ( dumplings ), a dumpling sauce, messo soup, curry chicken, and fortune cookies! I had such a great time, even though the messo soup tasted like my fish tank smells >_<

I love cooking. I love cooking for people. The best part for me are the happy smiles I put on peoples faces when they dig into a dish I've prepared, and I'm so excited that I'm only going to get better from here.

I look forward to racking your brains with my homework, and learning from your experience. I love intelligent conversation! and I really hope some of you will be up to the task of putting me in my place :P because you don't learn from being right, you learn from mistakes and being wrong! SO HELP ME LEARN :D I am always willing to share my experiences and wisdom.

I've always been horrible at school, but I told myself at the end of class monday, that I was going to graduate with honors, at the top of my class. Nothing I've ever done, or said has felt truer, or more right.
