Hello and welcome to Cheftalk.
Our members are from around the globe and all levels of culinary skills, from those just starting out to master chefs - and all stages in between. I'm Scots and Indian cookery is the 'second' food of the UK. We have lots of Indian restaurants here (although the chefs are very often Bangladeshi, not Indian!)
There is a culinary student's forum on the site where you will get some sage advice from students around the world - most are American, as this is an American site - but some Europeans, Australians and Asians, too.
Feel free to join in on any thread you find of interest, or start your own in the relevant forum. Please note, though, that the professional fora are read-only for those of us who are not presently employed in any of the culinary trades.
One of my favourite restaurants when I visit London is Benares, an Indian restaurant owned and cheffed by Atul Kochhar. His food is an amazing take on traditional Indian cuisine - and he has the Michelin star to prove it! Another of my favourites is in my home city of Edinburgh, called Oloroso, owned and cheffed by an amazing Scottish-Indian chef called Tony Singh. His food is simply amazing.
Good luck with your future career.
