Hi All from Arkansas

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a 35 year bar\restaurant professional working in both bars and restaurants in Austin, Texas,Grand Junction, Colorado, and now Camden, Arkansas. Have not spent much time in Camden, but it is most definitely a different culture than the other two. This is also my first experience in a high end fine dining establishment. I also own a publication for the bar and restaurant industry that is now in it's 25th year of publication. The other places were high volume bars with restaurants as side businesses. Have a lot to learn, and this board looks like a really good resource.

I'm Scottish, and we have members from around the globe.  I really enjoy fine dining and have eaten at many of the Michelin starred places in the UK.

 

Feel free to join in on any thread you find of interest, or start your own in the relevant forum.  We also have a number of professional-only fora, which you may find interesting.  The wikis, blogs, articles, reviews and photography on the site are also well worth spending time to view.
