I just picked up our new concession trailer & mobile kitchen unit from http://www.russellconcessions.com and we are in love with it! Shaun....which is the saleman really knows his stuff and can built from our custom design with some slight modifications from his company. Anyone looking for a new custom built mobile kitchen or concession trailer should really consider Coastal Concessions & Mobile Kitchens out of Lucedale, Mississippi. Even though we were 1800 miles away in Arizona they really took care of us and made sure all of our coes for Maricopa County were met! I can't say enough good things about their company....they even facilitated the delivery. Thank you again Coastal Concessions & Mobile Kitchens!!!!! - Derrick

I bought one of these just for making osso buco. I found myself using it for a lot more than just that. I make tomato sauce in it, chili, any excuse I have to bust it out, I do. I absolutely...

One of my first internet knives. Great blade. I mean *great* but the handle was a bit weird. Right now it just sits at the bottom of my knife kit.

I've owned one of these for over 3 years now, using it daily. I've never had to sharpen (grind) it, just an occasional run along a fine steel, and it's held a wonderful edge for everyday prep....

Concession Trailer / Mobile Kitchen Unit
So what's your agenda? Your first post and you mention the name of the builder three times?
Overpriced for what you get. I had them quote me a price on a custom unit, it was about $30k more than the company that ended up building one for me, same exact specs, and they were $20k more than the least expensive place in Fl that I got a quote from.
The FL builders make a crap product, they stuff a kitchen in a cargo trailer, not build it from the ground up.
I drove 7 hrs to look at a brand new trailer from one of them, the craftsmanship was a joke, and the thing would not pass health inspection. The layout was completely wrong. They were proud of their crappy work, and the owner was proud of his new $38,000 POS.
I have years of mobile experience, I knew exactly what I wanted built and how it needed to be fabricated.
Two years of daily use, and not one thing wrong with it. Built like a tank.
Your company would not put me in touch with any of their buyers to ask questions about their satisfaction with the company or to look at any equipment on the West Coast.. Red flag to me.
ChefBuba:
I have no agenda other than spreading the word of what a great product Coastal Concessions & Mobile Kitchens, Inc. built for us and shipped to our business in Arizona. We have a large restaurant that has been open for 30+ Years and we know a few things about cooking and http://www.russellconcessions.com built the trailer just as we designed and for a great price! Everyone has their own opinions....our family just happens to disagree with yours.
