I'm from the city St. Louis, Missouri. I'm an at home cook who gets ideas for dishes that haven't been made or think of new ways to make dishes better. I joined this to share some of my dishes to get feedback and/or friendly criticisms.

Greetings from one home cook to another. Chef Talk has a great community of professional chefs and avid home cooks, and we learn a lot from each other. We home cooks are free to read everything on the message boards, but we mustn't post in the Professionals' forums. However, we have plenty of opportunities in the General forums.

 

Besides the discussion forums we have cooking articles, wikis, cookbook and equipment reviews, photos and more. Use the search tool to find earlier discussions on topics of interest. We have over 10 years worth of information here!

 

Are you planning to attend culinary school? Or are you content to do your experimenting in your home kitchen?

 

I hope you visit often to learn from others and to share what you know.
