Hi, from Atlanta. I am Jody and wanting to introduce myself. I have been involved and around the food industry for over 30 years. The last six have been cooking at festivals, large onsite barbecues, small onsite cooking/catering gigs and most recent preparing my cart to join the Atlanta Food Trucks. I don’t consider myself a professional chef in the sense of culinary education or background. I am a good cook and like to experiment with giving traditional dishes a twist. My newest adventure is preparing to head to downtown Atlanta a few days per week to vend hot pressed sandwiches along with the other food trucks. I will be asking for some advice on making some special dressings for my sandwiches on other post. I plan a traditional menu centered around a Rueben, Pastrami & Swiss and a Classic Ham & Cheese grilled on the sandwich press, then offer some daily specials such as pimento cheese or a Tuna Melt.
