Hey everyone! My name is Teresa and I have been food obsessed since I was 5. My dad was an old hillbilly from Masontown, WV who moved to Maryland about 10 years before I was born. He loved to try anything and everything in the kitchen. From steaming Maryland blue crabs with fresh ramps (wild leeks) we would bring home from WV to teaching me how to can/freeze/jar & pickle anything and everything he could. I love to create my own craving inspired recipes. I am just a cook how likes to experiment and I have only worked in restaurants but I have never officially taken any courses. Baking is my stress reliever. I bake cakes for family & close friends as their birthday presents. It allows me to create something special for them while I get dip into my imagination. I have made a Mandrake cake for my daughters birthday by combining cream cheese & baked brownies together and then sculpting the root by hand. My latest request was from my daughters best friend. She wanted vagina cupcakes for her 23rd birthday. I never laughed so hard while making a cake in my life. I'm sure that has to do with me being a little twisted. I truly enjoy all the hints, advice & recipes I have found on this site and hope to be able to contribute to this online community.
