Hi All, 

 

Its exciting to know there is even a website devoted to "chef talk". I'm American and have been living in Asia for 5 years. I'm currently Chef for a restaurant group in HCM City, Vietnam. Since "we" work so much its hard for me to meet local chef's (and there's not THAT many). I'm not new to the restaurant business by any means, but, I haven't been a restaurant chef in years... So I have lots of questions and glad there is a place to bounce ideas off from like-minded people.

We're glad you found us too, Geoff! You'll find plenty of kindred spirits and lots of great people to talk to and learn with/from. We have other members from your part of the world and from every continent (well, an Antarctican stops in every so often). 

 

Besides the discussion forums, we have cooking articles, wikis, photo galleries, cookbook and equipment reviews and more. We hope you find what you need here, and look forward to your contributions.
