My friends were talking about this soup served in a local restaurant but I have yet to find a recipe even close. Any suggestions?

I just got off the phone with the general manager and he said that the Chef at Spring Creek , Jason Miller, will hopefully stop by Cheftalk and post the recipe.
From what I understand its fairly simple (the basic 4 ingredients that were mentionned- 1/2 & 1/2 then the tang. oil and saffron ) , he also said that it makes for a good palate cleanser.
Hopefully Chef Jason will stop by and clarify this for us.
That was really nice of you to call. I almost asked in class but I try not to be "that" student. Chef Mitchell is very down to earth and kind, heck he teaches a class of 13 twice a week. At my job we have a signature pumpkin soup that I am not allowed to reveal the recipe or if asked I say general items but also that the amounts are done by eye and taste.
