CATALONIA SAYS NO TO CRUELTY TO BULL FIGHTING

Catalonia which consists of Barcelona, Tarragona, Girona and Lerida are no longer permitting bull fighting in their district of 4 provinces and had closed the last of the bullrings on the 25th of September ...

Now to move on to Catalonia´s Dining Recommendations ...

1) Barcelona: Carme Ruscadella - the only woman in the world to have 5 Michelin stars ... Her Sant Pau 1881 townhouse mecca of dining is highly recommended and worth every Euro ...

2) Girona Capital: Joan Roca is an expert at sous vide and provides an incredibly heavenly ambiance to enjoy a truly remarkable seasonal carte ...

3) Barcelona Centre:  Fermi Puig, raised in Washington D.C. is the head chef of The Hotel Majestic ... and focuses on the natural and local prime materials by season ...

4) Borne, the Soho of Barcelona:  Carles Abellón has been quite daring in his decor, none the less, his bill of fares are absolutely astounding. His tapas are scrumptuous. He is a disciple of Ferrán Adriá.

Yes, it is about time actually ... Barcelona is a fun place ... Do get over to the neighborhood of Borne and The Barri Gotti Central Market ( great place for Picnic fixings and / or there are small tapas or pincho bars inside the Market ). Highly suggested to see is the Sagrada Family Cathedral --- it is quite amazing architecturally ...

Of course, the gastro bar scene is hopping --- gastro bars are vanguard tapas bars that have been the wave of Michelin star Chefs due to the crisis ... Have alot of fun ...

If you have time and rent a car, drive up to The Parador Network Hotel Castle in Cardona, northwest of Barcelona or Aiguablava, which means white waters in Begar on the Costa Brava, in Girona, a stunning province ...
