This is not really a Bug-type of comment, just an observation I guess. 

Each time I go to "my profile" the ad for Hawaiian Airlines comes up on the right hand scroll with the fare Non-Stop from Phoenix to Honolulu.... 

HHHHMMMMMM?? 

Am I just seeing things? 

or just subliminal?

(did I mention that I'm from Hawaii and now live not too far from Phoenix?)

GGEEEZZZZ, you think that really works, I went to my profile and the Pop up ad was the Energizer Bunny. I don't know if its Subliminal or not, but we are having Rabbit stew tonight for dinner.......................ChefBillyB

The ads are sensitive to your location and other things you do on the web. I get a lot of weird sports ads because of a few other sites I visit.

 

I'm not actually very impressed with the algorithm personally. I'd rather see more targeted advertising to the site than to me. Because the ones they target to me are annoying.

I only get "foods illustrated"

Apparently they are at a loss what to do with subscribers from Africa

I never thought of it that way phatch, but I suppose that does make sense. 

What about the members who do not list their location?  Is there a generic ad pop up?

ChefBillyB, please take photos and show me what and how you are making your rabbit stew.  I’d love to try to make that, luv rabbit!!

It will judge based on your IP address. That's what I meant by location.
