Hi I'm Alvaro I'm studing architecture and I have to make an apartment design for a 30 years old man who is Chef (fictional client) I just wanted to know if you can help me with ideas about a great kitchen design This is kinda difficult for me because I was thinking about a functional design with a lot of stainless steel,  something about a  minimalist design (only a few elements , furniture etc) But perhaps thats very boring for a cook or chef I don't know really . I want to design your dreams kitchen, something special . something so cool that you just want to stay right there a lot of hours cooking your recipes.

I hope you can help me .

Lots of counter space.

Lots of burners. At least 6.

At least two full size ovens, at least one of which is convection.

Big refrigerator -- no side by sides. Freezer that will take sheet pans.

Pot filler tap by the cook top.

Two sinks with disposals. At least one of them very large.

Plenty of counter space between the sink and refrigerator for groceries coming in.

Pastry area with a granite or marble counter top.

Durable counter that doesn't need much care.

Places to store and use large appliances like stand mixer, food processor, blender

Toaster-oven, microwave and toaster always on the counter.

Serious espresso machine and grinder.

Island yes. But size it and place it so it doesn't have to be negotiated every time you do anything. You really don't want to have to walk all the around it to get from the sink to the stove.

Big pantry -- but no carousels.

Big pot rack over the island.

The big thing for me would be a good flow...  from the refrigerator to the prep area to the stove and back to the prep area to plate it.  Maybe a nice center island in case I wanted to have guests over and entertain or hold a class/demonstration.
