Je suis ravi de faire votre connaissance ! I too grew up cooking beside my mother and her mother. She was a great influence in my life. She worked for a Swiss family and did alot catering. There was a window of opportunity in my life, and I grabbed it, never looked back. It will be 13 years in January.
You will find so many wonderful sections with various topics. Forgive my English writing, I was brought up in both languages.
There is a section for the pro's that you are welcome to read. (if you are working in the industry then by all means post there) , wiki's, reviews, gallery, and so many other topics from bolts to nuts.
We have cooks/chefs in every field you could think of, including a section for students.
