I have heard it is an aphrodisiac but am not sure how to cook it in a romantic meal for me and my girl. Any ideas?

you may want to check, but i think it might be a poison..unless of course your into necrophilia...to each their own!

maybe try oysters.....they're safer!

Nothing says romance like a genitourinary tract inflammation.

Or you might try chocolate.

It's generally considered toxic to humans. But that doesn't mean it hasn't been used. Check out, for instance, some of the classic recipies from the Morrocan spice mixture ras el hanout.

BTW, while I don't know where you'd find them in the U.S., Spanish fly is a small, metalic-green beetle,  commonly called cantharides, scientific name Lytta vesicatoria.

I hope you plan to tell the girlfriend about this "special ingredient" before she eats the food.

This sounds gross and extremely disturbing.  Why don't you try the normal channels of mutual gaze and  timing and warmth?
