Hello, hello!  I am Vaughn, Vaughn Wareham.  

 

Let's see, introduction.... Well, I've been cooking A LOT since I was very little, I'm eighteen now and plan on going to culinary school as soon as I can.  Just looking to see what is going on around here, I love chatting about recipes and all that.

 

I have a blog with some cooking things on it.  I try to add to it often, but I forget to photograph about 90% of the things I cook.  All recipes on it are my own.

 

(P.S. - I know oleander tea is poisonous, I am not suggesting anyone drink it... I grew up in a house covered in oleander though so I enjoy how it looks and smells...)

 

So, introduce yourselves if you would, looking forward to getting to know some of you!

Hello, Vaughn - welcome to Cheftalk.

 

Our members come from around the world and all levels of culinary ability - so you will get lots of interesting points of view on recipes and other matters here.

 

We have a forum specifically for culinary students, which might give you some insight regarding culinary courses and various ways of studying, which will help to inform your final choices!

 

The wikis, blogs, articles, reviews and photographs on here are well worth spending time to view - lot of inspiration to be found therein.  I know I've found some of the photography amazing to view. 

 

Please feel free to join in on any thread you find interesting, or start your own in the relevant forum.  However, the Professional fora are read-only for those of us who are not currently employed in any culinary trade (although they make interesting reading!)

My name is Lindsey,

I actually came across this site looking for reviews on various knives ^_^;;

Currently I am a culinary student and I have been in school for about a year now.

I love it.

Whenever I first started college I was attending a regular college...buuuut it just wasn't for me.

I've always loved cooking and had cooked as a home cook for years.

Now I have found my love, my passion.

Everyday is something new, and I never get tired of it. I could cook all day. In fact, sometimes I do!
