Just wanted to say "Hello"

Hi everyone,

 

I am most definitely an at home cook. My talent in the kitchen varies.  Some good days, some bad days. Unfortunately, I do not have the natural talent to be a professional cook.

Nor the drive, truth be told! biggrin.gif But, I do enjoy cooking for my family which consists of my husband, 22 yr old daughter (I know, I know!) 7yr old Miss Kitty and 5 month olds, Bosco and Molly (boxer mix rescue pups). Okay, so I don't really cook for the cat and puppies. Or for my daughter all that often.smile.gif I thoroughly enjoy cooking when the rest of our daughters and their families come to visit. I stumbled upon this site while trying to find a recipe for "glass carrots". I was instantly intrigued and wanted to join.  It looks like a fantastic site, even or especially for home cooks such as myself.

Hi Petals,

 

Thank you for your info.  I am from the Nashville area in Tennessee and it is nice to meet you also.  Yes, I did find that thread and thank you again. I have a thread in equipment about how long to put the carrots in the freezer if you don't have a blast chiller.
