Whats up guys and gals! I've always had a strong passion for food and only as of recent decided to follow my heart and pursue my goal of becoming a Chef. I definitely view myself as the go-getter type and I am certainly willing to put in the hard work to learn and train with a top chef. I have about 6 months of experience working in the kitchen as I served as a personal chef to a local church and have plenty of home cooking experience. What I love most about cooking is you never stop learning and I look forward to broadening my knowledge here on ChefTalk.

Welcome to Cheftalk - and if you have questions about 'how' to achieve your ambition, we have plenty of chefs, sous, line and all other types of 'cooks' on here to help!

 

Feel free to join in on any thread you find interesting, or start your own in the relevant forum.  There is a culinary student forum (which has lots of helpful topics regarding choosing a cookery school/obtaining a stage/apprenticeship.  Please note, though, that the professional fora are read-only for those not presently employed in a culinary profession.  The wikis, blogs, articles, reviews and photographs on here are all well worth spending time to view - with lots of inspirational ideas, especially in the photography section.
