So I took an idea from JCakes for making smores, and experimented with it for some fun. I made it at home (where I prefer to experiment) and "subjected" my family to the results. I'd never thought of making smores in this fashion, and when JCakes mentioned it in his post (http://www.cheftalk.com/t/67657/torching-marshmallows-when-no-open-flame-allowed#post_369618) I decided to give it a go. I thank JCakes for giving me the idea. I'd never made a ganache before, and this was a great excuse to "play" with it.
My results were quite satisfying, and I'm taking some into work to share with my co-workers, just because I can. Here are some pictures from my project:
