I'm also an enthusiastic amateur cook - also love to bake. As a Scot, I think baking is hard-wired into our brains! The membership here is broad, from around the globe and all levels of culinary ability.
The wikis, blogs, articles, reviews and photography on the site are well worth spending time to view. The photography is a source of inspiration to many of our members. Feel free to join in on any thread you find interesting, or start your own in the relevant forum. The three Professional fora are read-only for those of us not employed in a culinary capacity (but also make interesting reading!)
