Firstly, due to several of our regular writers being foreign and travelling for the holidays, our group always have lunch before the 21st. Today we had lunch at a relatively new venue, however, of course Navarran Veteran Chef Pedro Larumbe has been in the business for aeons. He had recently relocated his Palatial rooftop restaurant located at Paseo de La Castellana 34 for a more vanguard in spot location.

 

Restaurant Larumbe focuses on filet mignon, steak tartar, sea scallop ceviche, corvina roasted in oven ... just a few of the divine delectables. www.larumbe.com

 

The dessert was a Souffle ... Must get that recipe.

And the price per person was???

Over 50 years in food service business 35 as Ex Chef. Specializing in Volume upscale Catering both on and off premise .(former Exec. Chef in the largest on premise caterer in US  with 17 Million Dollars per year annual volume). 
      Well versed in all facets of Continental Cuisine...

Happy Holidays,

 

Firstly, this invited lunch had been paid for by my Publisher, and since it was a Group event previously booked, I do not know what he arranged with Pedro Larumbe directly price-wise.

 

The Taster´s Menu is 55 Euros per person including a Madriaje, which in English, is a sampling of paired wines for each dish including desserts.

 

There is also a laboral lunch daily carte, for executives Monday thru Friday and that lunch which includes a bottle of wine is 20 Euros per person and it includes a starter, maincourse and dessert or if you wish just café.
