I am here to educate myself and find out some cool stuff. My daughter is in culinary school and learned her love of cooking from me. She learned her love of food ( the smells , taste, etc.,) from us all. Looks like a place full of info both serious and fun. Have a great 2012!!

Welcome, Guntar

Noone who cooks is an 'only' anything!  We all love food here, whether we're amateurs (like me) or masterchefs!  Food matters to us all.

Feel free to join in on any thread you find interesting or start your own in the relevant forum.  Please note, though, that the Professional fora are read-only for those of us who are not employed in a culinary capacity.  The wikis, blogs, articles, reviews and photo gallery are all well spending time to view.

You must be very proud of your daughter!   Tell her about Cheftalk, we have a culinary student forum on here so she would be amongst friends.  Hope to see you around the boards.
