On Christmas day, the wife cooked a great dish of candied yams with the tiny marshmallows. They tasted great!


Fast forward two days, and I pull them out of the fridge. I slap some on the plate and... what the... the underside is pure black. They had been covered with tin foil, in the metal baking dish she cooked them in, in the fridge.


They tasted bad. Very bad. Can't-eat-them bad. We've never seen this before. What happened?
