My question is:
What can one do at such a young age to make sure the Culinary Arts is a career worth looking into? I want to make sure that this is a career I want to take seriously before I apply to colleges. (I am a sophomore in high school)
Also, for anyone who found out they had a passion for food at a young age, how did you find the motivation to pursue your dream career? How do you find motivation and creativity while cooking at home?
I am from NYC and I participated in a culinary program this past summer at UPENN for 3 weeks and will participate in a culinary internship for this coming summer at Chicago for 4 weeks. So I have had some experience with food. I am just doubtful that it isn't enough for me to make a solid decision.
