How do these stainless pan compare to Calphalon or some of the other good ones? Been reading and some people think they're about as good as All Clad. Would they be better than Tramontina?
I don't know anyone who owns that line.
Tramontina is a bang for the buck line. It performs well at lower cost than comparable performing wares, up to and including All-Clad.
I don't recall how Cuisinart may have performed in testing. You could use the 14 day free subscription feature at Cooksillustrated.com and read their pan reviews and see. You'll need to cancel your subscription before those 14 days are up though or they'll charge the credit card you provided when you subscribed.
