aspiring Chef

Hello everyone! This is my first time joining a forum. I have worked for a bank for the past 8 yrs in misery but have always been an aspiring Chef. I am currently attending Grossmont Community College to obtain an Culinary Entreprenuer Associates Degree.

We have a number of members who have changed careers to a catering one, so you are in good company!  There is a specific forum for catering students which you may find interesting. 


Feel free to join in on any thread you find of interest, or start your own in the relevant forum. Please note, though, that the professional fora are read-only for those not currently employed in a culinary capacity (although they still make fascinating reading!)  The wikis, blogs, articles, reviews and photography are all well worth spending time to view.  The photographs are a source of considerable inspiration to many of our members.  Our membership is from around the globe which makes for interesting 'conversations', too.
